THANKSGIVING ON THE BLOCK
Turkey Drive
Our “Thanksgiving On The Block” Turkey Drive is an annual community initiative that gives to low-income, underprivileged communities in Third Ward Houston who cannot afford Thanksgiving meals. We provide Turkeys and goods to families and allow our youth and young adult artists an opportunity to serve through performances with messages of hope that display artistic creativity for community engagement.
Over the last four years, we’ve been able to serve over 100 families for the Thanksgiving Holiday!
We reached our goal for 2021 and served 50 families through this initiative last year!
